The Hickory Branch of \;the National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People (NAACP) will hold its Third Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday September 27\, 2025 at River Oaks Golf Club\, 233 Broken Arrow Drive\, Statesville\, NC 28677.
\n\n\;
\n\nIn addition to its social and recreational outcomes\, this event is the Branch&rsquo\;s major fundraiser of the year for which sponsorships are being sought. \;Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Branch&rsquo\;s scholarship and educational programs which consist of 3 to 5 one thousand-dollar scholarships awarded annually to several Hickory area high school graduates and the branch \;Equity and Inclusion Task Force which focuses on the elimination of large pre-K-12 educational disparities.
\n\n\;
\n\nSponsorships are being accepted for this event as follows: Silver ($150)\, Bronze ($250)\, Gold ($500)\, and Platinum ($1\,000). \;Signs will be made with each Sponsor&rsquo\;s Name and type of Sponsorship. \;All Sponsors will be recognized during the opening ceremony at 12:45. \;

\n\nRegistration and lunch for golfers starts at noon. \;Tee time is at 1:00pm. \;The cost of $85.00 per player\, includes cart\, green fee\, course snacks\, water\, and lunch. \; \;
\n\nCash prizes of $300\, $200\, and $100 will be awarded \;for 1st\, 2nd\, &\; 3rd place winners. \;Prizes will also be awarded for &ldquo\;closest to the pin&rdquo\; on all (3) Par&rsquo\;s.
