DESCRIPTION:The Chamber of Catawba County invites you to the\n\n50th Annual Virtual Shareholders & Investors Celebration\n\nFebruary 25\, 2022\n\n12:45 - 2:00 pm\n\n\n\nThe theme of our 50th Anniversary Celebration is Resilience to Persistence. \n\n\n\nPersistence is defined as "firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition" and a secondary definition is ?the continued or prolonged existence of something.? To your Chamber\, the first definition is emblematic of the year that was 2021 --- the lingering pandemic continued to cause obstacles and challenges for our business community\, but they carried on and thrived through it and so did the Chamber\, as the lead advocate and partner for eliminating or lightening barriers & solving problems for our partners. \n\n\n\nThe second definition is emblematic of The Chamber of Catawba County.  2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the decision for the Eastern Catawba County Chamber of Commerce and The Greater Hickory Chamber of Commerce to merge to create one entity\, one unified voice for business\, responsible for economic development\, business competitiveness success and vitality for business in Catawba County.\n\n  \n\nJoin us virtually on February 25th for our 50th Annual Shareholders & Investors Celebration where we will shine a light on notable impacts of 2021 and cast a vision forward for The Chamber of Catawba County and the continued impact we will have on the region. We look forward to also recognizing our Board of Directors and the 2021 Ambassador Team of the Year. \n\n\n\nRegistration: \n\nJanuary 18 - February 9\n\n$50 per person \n\nRegistration\, substitution and cancellation deadline is 12 pm on February 9.\n\n\n\n50th Anniversary Bonus:\n\nTo celebrate the theme of Resilience to Persistence\, reservations completed (with attendee name) by 12 pm on February 9th will receive a gift card to a local restaurant.\n\nGift cards will be available for pick up at the Chamber office between February 21 - 24. \n\nAdditional details will be provided to event attendees as the date nears.
