DESCRIPTION:The American Heart Association\, The Lackey Family and Caf  Rule are encouraging Catawba County residents to learn more about heart healthy lifestyles on Saturday\, June 10\, 2017. Heart in the Park\, a family-friendly event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. at the Hickory Crawdads Stadium\, 2500 Clement Blvd NW Hickory\, NC. The American Heart Association\, The Lackey Family and Caf  Rule are providing the Catawba County community with a day filled with heart health information. The goal of Heart in the Park is to encourage families to put their health first and create and maintain healthy habits. Heart in the Park is a free family event that is open to the public. Heart in the Park will provide interactive health information\, prizes and more. Individuals can participate in healthy cooking demonstrations\, free health screenings\, fitness classes\, and a family health challenge. All participants will receive a free ticket to the Hickory Crawdads game\, later that evening. Community partners for this event include Caf  Rule\, Catawba County Public Health\, Catawba County Humane Society\, Discover Wellness\, Fleet Feet\, Frye Regional Medical Center\, Hickory Crawdads\, Lowes Food/Alex Lee\, and YMCA Catawba.
