DESCRIPTION:REMINDER - The Catawba County Chamber of Commerce Annual Shareholders and Investors Luncheon is being held today\,  Wednesday\, February 10th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. This is a sell-out event with over 450 people attending.   The buffet line will open at 11:15 am.  Tables are marked reserved for those that purchased a full table.  All other tables are open seating. The program is a very special and inspirational one featuring elementary school students from "The Leader in Me" schools. The theme is "Inspiring Greatness Presented by the Future Leaders of Catawba County."\n\n\n\nThe Leader in Me is a whole-school transformation model-developed in partnership with educators- that empowers students with the skills they need to thrive in the 21st century. The Leader in Me redefines what school greatness means\, represented through three overlapping circles: Leadership\, Culture and Academics. There are over 2\,000 schools worldwide that are implementing "The Leader in Me" process based on Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.\n\n\n\nWe will also be presenting our 2016 Duke Energy Community Leadership Award and recognizing our outgoing Chamber Chair Robert Broome and Incoming Chair Kevin McIntosh along with incoming and outgoing Board members.\n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you at this fantastic event!
