DESCRIPTION:March is National Colon Cancer Awareness month. Carolina Digestive Care Center of Morganton is proud to announce our 1st Annual Colon Challenge 5k Run and Fun Walk. All proceeds are being donated to cancer research charity. Colon cancer is expected to take the lives of more than 160\,000 people in 2012.  It is also the 2nd leading cause of cancer related deaths. The purpose of our run is to bring awareness the importance of a screening colonoscopies. Please come out and support the cause and have a fun time. Please visit our website for more information.
