DESCRIPTION:Have you ever dreamed of turning some of your lawn into a food forest or pollinator garden? Join us as we embark on a journey to add biodiversity and beautiful plants to your very own landscape. This class will discuss native plants\, planting strategies\, traditional methods of pest management\, and so much more. There will be an interactive portion of the class\, and each person is encouraged to bring a "blueprint" of their yard or desired planting area so we can discuss planting suggestions suited to each person's yard! Bring all your questions ranging from permaculture design\, plant selection\, current yard conundrums\, and more! This class is designed for adults but children 14 and older are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Each class participant will go home with their very own starter bundle of food forest plants!\n\nPlant bundles will include\, but not limited to an elderberry bush\, yarrow\, native mountain mint\, and the amazing bog sage!
