DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Catawba Valley Healthcare.  The ribbon cutting will take place on Thursday\, June 2nd at 11:30 am.  Catawba Valley Healthcare (CVH) operated as Catawba Valley Behavioral Health (CVBH) since 2005 but recently changed to Catawba Valley Healthcare (CVH).  Catawba Valley Healthcare is located at 327 1st Ave NW in Hickory.  \n\n\n\nCatawba Valley Healthcare is a local non-profit providing services for individuals with brain health and intellectual developmental disabilities.   CVH provides primary care in a whole person care model for the needs of the individual patient.  They serve approximately 5\,500 people per year with medication management\, primary care\, therapy\, residential services\, and day programs.  CVH also operates a mobile crisis program providing support for the citizens of Burke and Catawba County.  CVH works closely with law enforcement with the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program\, Substance Use services in the jail and support for re-entry to the community.  Timothy Lentz\, LCSW\, will be assuming the role of CEO on August 1\, 2022 from the long term CEO John Waters.
