UCHS has partnered with Lenoir-Rhyne University. Located on the LR campus\, our students use the LR library\, cafeteria\, classrooms\, gym\, fields and take college classes. UCHS will now be using classroom space at St. Andrews Lutheran Church (South Campus) and at our new North Campus location just 600 feet down the street. \n\n\n\nAt UCHS 9th and 10th grade students take Honors and AP level high school classes. 11th and 12th graders have the option of taking LR Classes on campus with an LR professor\, AP classes at UCHS or Honors level classes. Students graduate from UCHS with as many as 32 hours of college credit from LRU.\n\n\n\nAll of our students complete at least 20 hours of community service. Last year our 135 high school students completed over 4200 hours of community service. UCHS students are giving back the community. \n\n\n\nUCHS is a Lutheran High School that accepts students of all faiths. School begins with school wide devotions\, has weekly chapel services and required UCHS religion classes each year. Helping students develop into Christian leaders is a primary goal of our school. \n\n\n\nOn August 10 we will be having our Opening Chapel Service at 10:00 am. At this service we will be dedicating the faculty and staff to their calling to teach this year and dedicating our new building for the Lord's work. Following the chapel service we will walk to our new school building for the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The Ribbon Cutting will begin at 11:00 am in front of the new building. Everyone is invited to our chapel service\, the Ribbon Cutting or to both. \n\n\n\nFollowing the Ribbon Cutting\, we will have light refreshments and tours of our new facility. We hope that the people of the community will come and help us celebrate the blessing of this new building.
