DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a ribbon cutting to celebrate the introduction of the Library To Go at the Newton Recreation Center on Thursday\, November 29th at 12:00 noon.  Light refreshments will be served.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nLibraries transform communities\, and the Catawba County Library is taking that mission beyond the library's walls and on the road as we introduce our new mobile library:  Library To Go.  This state-of-the-art traveling exploration station meets children and adults where they are\, with empowering resources in places that have not historically enjoyed the benefits of library services.  This library is different.  When the Library To Go arrives for a visit\, the team unloads bookshelves\, worktables\, technologies\, lounging spaces\, and play and learning areas - creating a temporary\, ever-changing environment for interactive learning and exploration.  Library To Go is true outreach - offering the community what it wants and needs to succeed.\n\n\n\nPlease join us on Thursday\, November 29th!
