DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to a ribbon cutting to celebrate the renovation of the administrative offices of the YMCA of Catawba Valley.  The ribbon cutting will take place on Tuesday\, July 26th at 11:30 am.  The YMCA of Catawba Valley is located at 315 1st Ave NW Suite 104 in Hickory.\n\n\n\nThe YMCA is a cause-driven non-profit organization offering childcare\, summer camp programs\, youth and adult sports\, fitness\, before/after school and wellness and community support.  The Y is a 501(c)3 dedicated to youth development\, healthy living and social responsibility.  The mission of the Y is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit\, mind & body for all.  The administrative offices are relocating to create space at the Hickory Foundation YMCA for the second phase of construction of the Building Strong Community initiative which is to renovate and rejuvenate the Hickory Foundation YMCA and the Adrian L. Shuford\, Jr. YMCA.\n\n\n\nThis renovation and rejuvenation project will allow the YMCA to serve more children and families\, to be an even greater community economic driver and will add value to the overall quality of life in the Catawba Valley Region.
