DESCRIPTION:Come and Join the Excitement and Network with Catawba County Businesses at SCHMOOZAPALOOZA!   We have booked another new and unique venue for our Winter SCHMOOZAPALOOZA just in time for the holidays!  Chamber Business Exhibitors - This perfect timing will allow you to sell gift cards\, wares or make holiday recommendations in an upbeat electric atmosphere! \n\n	\n		\n			\n				 \n		\n	\n\nThe Chamber's 2nd Schmoozapalooza of the year is scheduled for Tuesday\, December 10th at the newly renovated The Crossings at Hollar Mill (883 Highland Ave. SE\, Hickory\, NC 28603) from 4:00  7:00 PM. The event is open to the public with no admission fee.  Attendees will enjoy complimentary food samples & beverages & have the opportunity to make new contacts with over 50 business exhibit booths\, all while having the possibility of being an extra for one of the most popular shows on the Food Network\, Food Court Wars! \n\n \n\nFood Court Wars\, hosted by the charismatic & renowned Chef\, entrepreneur\, & Food Network Star\, Tyler Florence\, pits two teams of aspiring food entrepreneurs against one another as they battle to win their own food court restaurant featuring a menu that offers fresh region-specific cuisine\, rent-free for one year.  Each week features a difference U.S. city mall\, and our own Valley Hills Mall was chosen as the location for this second season.  \n\n \n\nOne episode of the three part series in Hickory will be filmed at Schmoozapalooza! Those who attend will have the opportunity to taste each finalists' cuisine before the big finale that will take place the following day. Both competitors\, & other Chamber member restaurants & caterers will be there to give out samplings of their food\, other local business exhibitors will be showing off their products & services & the Food Network will be there to film all the action!\n\n \n\nThis will be the semi-finals of the Food Court Wars competition leading up to the final filming of the show the next day at Valley Hills Mall. Stakes are high as teams must test their concept\, market their brand\, and run their outlet for a full day feeding hungry shoppers.  The team whose restaurant makes the most profit wins their eatery space   a prize worth $100\,000! The losing team must vacate the premises. \n\n \n\nAt Schmoozapalooza\, these two aspiring entrepreneurs will go head-to-head to win your palette and will personally invite you to select them with your food purchases during the finale that will take place at Valley Hills Mall on Wednesday\, December 11th.  \n\n \n\nTell your customers\, friends\, and neighbors to stop by from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Tuesday\, December 10th.
