The Bears Club Hosts BeaRaPaLooZa

The Bears Club is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual BeaRaPaLooZa, presented by the City of Hickory. This Community event will be filled with fun, food, family, and LR Athletics. BeaRaPaLooZa kicks off at 11:00am on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 with the LR Football Red and Black Spring game. There will be live music from the Shelby Rae Moore Band from 12:00pm-2:00pm on the Surface Family Practice Field/Gold tailgating Lot, and you can tailgate with many of our LR sports teams, including LR Foodball Head Coach Doug Socha, his staff, and the football team. Bring your own food or take advantage of the local food trucks that will be in attendance, while you enjoy the afternoon. Track and Field and Men's and Women's Lacrosse are also competing at home that day. The Track meet is an all-day affair, while Women's Lacrosse starts at 2 p.m. and Men's Lacrosse at 5 p.m. Admission to BeaRaPaLooZa and all athletic events that day is free, courtesy of our friends at the city of Hickory. The inaugural Cub Club t-shirt design contest winner will be announced at BeaRaPaLooZa as well! Stay tuned for more details coming soon. A staple of BeaRaPaLooZa is the Bears Club Spring Raffle that takes place each spring and involves raffle tickets being sold for $100 each, with the opportunity for purchasers to win over 30 prizes. The drawing for the raffle prizes will be held during the event. Raffle prizes include vacations, mountain getaways, jewelry, gift certificates for local businesses, golf outings, Gold Lot Parking Passes, and much more.
