Hickory Int'l Council Spring Fest + Art on the Avenue 5-7-11

The Hickory International Council and the Hickory Museum of Art present the International Spring Fest + Art on the Avenue, a combined festival celebrating culture, cuisine, and community! Enjoy the Artist Village (folk art, pottery, jewelry, fused glass, cards, paintings, etc.). Visit World Heritage Exhibits from Poland, Japan, Germany, Canada, Romania, Ghana, India, Tunisia, and more. Try foods from around the world such as sushi, wood-fired brick oven pizza, French pastries, Indian samosas, Hawaiin ice, and American hotdogs. Engage in activities like origami, yoga, tai chi, camel rides, treasure hunts, kids art activities, drumming, etc.

The festival is family friendly, free, and offers fantastic entertainment. Main stage will present a variety of performances throughout the day.
