After a successful three month run with Impossibilities and a trip to South Korea, Erik Dobell is back and ready to perform his show for the Hickory Public Library. Erik Dobell has been a busy guy lately. This time last year he was planning a 16 date tour with Chris Collins that eventually became Impossibilities, which he juggled with private performances and trips to South Korea. Now that he's back in the states and bringing his one man show to the Hickory Public Library on June 18th. Show starts at 7:30 pm and if you stick around, you may be able to meet the Mentalist one on one. When asked what to expect from his shows, the Mind Invader gets a little secretive. "I don't want to ruin any surprises," he said, "but I do promise a family friendly, entertaining evening full of mind reading, magic and comedy." Just ask anyone who's seen Erik Dobell perform before and they'll tell you that he does not disappoint. In his show you'll see him perform feats of mind reading, suggestion and something called psychokinesis which he uses to cause silverware and other objects to move and bend without touching them. All of this in a funny, family friendly show that will delight even the most hardened skeptics. "Most people go their entire lives without ever seeing a live performance of Mentalism." Erik explains "If I'm that one performance, I want to make sure that it's the best show possible." This show is sponsored by the Hickory Public Library and is free and open to the public. Erik Dobell is available for interviews, please call 336-341-5945 to schedule a appointment. You can follow the Mind Invader at Twitter.com/ErikDobell or Facebook.com/ TheMindInvader
