HKY4Vets Virtual Hiring Event

February 8th marks the organization's third virtual hiring event since August - featuring 1-on-1 text and video interviews with military/military spouse talent seeking their next career opportunity. The past two events have been open only to HKY4Vets employer partners, but this event and our scheduled event in May are open to any interested Catawba County employer.
As background, the virtual events typically have featured 35-45 registrants coming from a wide variety of military backgrounds (MOS positions have included HR, logistics, maintenance, infantry) and are typically mid-career to late early career. We are hopeful to increase registration and participation numbers, as well as target more junior enlisted participants through some new marketing partnerships.
