Leadership Catawba Graduation 3-1-2018

Leadership Catawba, our longest running program, has educated and equipped hundreds of Catawba County residents with information about the social, economic, and political dynamics of our community. This program challenges each person to be an effective and influential leader within our greater community through personal commitment and involvement.

Over a 6-month duration, participants are immersed in community issues and challenges that our organization positions ourselves to directly address in the areas of:

Telling our Story
Serving our Community
Building for Jobs
Work Force Connectivity
Small Business and Entrepreneurship

Leadership Catawba 2017/2018 kicked-off in August with a half day orientation and concluded with a full day team building retreat. In March 2018, each participant graduates with approximately 16 hours of situational leadership training from a diverse array of community leaders and contracted consultants. Additional, each participant will receive a personal, full Profile XT Leadership Study and post-analysis (a $250 value)! During the class, Leadership Catawba students are challenged to organize and execute a group project that directly addresses a critical issue our county is facing in order to leave a sustainable impact. The program concludes with a special Graduation Luncheon at Catawba County Club where each participant will receive a diploma.
