National Small Business Week Proclamation 5-6-2019

In celebration of National Small Business Week, the Catawba County Board of Commissioners will issue a Proclamation – in support of this - at the start of the May 6th meeting.

All small business owners, and those who applaud the entrepreneurial spirit of Catawba County, are invited to attend along with Lindsay Keisler, President/CEO, Catawba County Chamber of Commerce.

For more than 50 years, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.
