Ribbon Cutting - Cubbard Express #16 12-14-2022

You are cordially invited to a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Cubbard Express #16  The ribbon cutting will take place on Wednesday, December 14th at 11:30 am. Cubbard Express #16 is located at 2357 Catawba Valley Blvd SE, Hickory (corner of Startown Rd. and Catawba Valley Blvd). 

Cubbard Express Convenience stores is owned and operated by Bumgarner Oil Company of Hickory. Founded in 1954 by Glenn Bumgarner, Bumgarner Oil started as a heating oil and kerosene business later entering the convenience store business in the late 80’s. They have grown to 16 locations across the Catawba Valley. They strive to have clean, well lit, well stocked, and friendly locations that offer value and convenience to their customers.
 
They are excited to open this brand new location on the corner of Startown Rd. and Catawba Valley Blvd. Customers will find all of their favorite snacks, drinks, and tobacco, as well as a well-stocked beer cave. They also will have a food service program offering your favorite breakfast sandwiches, as well as grab and go pizza and wings. Customers will also benefit from 4 grades of gasoline. Regular, plus, and premium E10 gasoline as well as E85 Regular, and diesel. They are also proud to partner with HARA Food Service group to offer a Dunkin Donuts location with a drive through.
 
This location will operate on a 5am-10pm schedule Monday-Wednesday, and 6am-10pm Sunday. Thursday-Saturday we will operate a 5am-11pm schedule. The store manager will be industry veteran Sabrina Mastroly, who has been with the company for nearly 20 years.
