Ribbon Cutting - The Graceful Geese Mercantile 5-23-24

You are cordially invited to attend a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of The Graceful Geese Mercantile.  The ribbon cutting celebration will take place on Thursday, May 23rd at 4:30 pm. The Graceful Geese Mercantile is located at 2220 US-70 SE, Suite 179 in Hickory.

At The Graceful Geese Mercantile you will find antiques, handcrafted local artisan creations including small furniture and accessories, along with one-of-a-kind vintage items.  The Mercantile will be showcasing the past and present artisans of North Carolina.

Local business owners are Angie and Ray McGinnis. “It has always been a dream of ours to own our own business”, says Angie. “Once Ray retired from his 30+ year career at Corning, we knew this would be the perfect opportunity for us to start our next phase in life by opening a much-needed additional space to connect our artisan community. This will also create an opportunity for local artists to share their North Carolina craftsmanship with the rest of the world by exposing Mart customers to their incredible works of art.”
